The author, Barry Sidaway, has been living with Parkinson’s disease for over 16 years. In this, we hope, his first book he covers the period leading up to his diagnosis and his first 3 or 4 years with the disease. As an autobiography it is easy to read. Barry has a nice personal style which will appeal to many . As a book on living with Parkinson’s this is a must read. Whether you agree with what is written or not it is the positive approach to the subject which wins through. If you adopt this approach to future dealings with the disease the book will have served its purpose. I am delighted to have been given the opportunity to close this book. I will do so by saying I cannot wait to read the next book Margaret Fleming
