Jennifer Lagier’s poems are a prayer for the survival of the natural world. As she walks the Pacific coast each morning, she pays close attention to where she walks and what she sees. Her poems are witness to the strength and the fragility of the ecosystem. They are elegantly crafted - clearly the work of a poet who has been working her language for a lifetime. The poems in this book are Jennifer Lagier’s best work.
