Howdy Folks, The story of Timmy and Lindy, is one of the tales told to me some years ago when I was just a young lad looking for adventure. I used to visit with some old-timers who lived down the way from us. Mrs. West would sit on her porch and tell me some tales about her great-grandmother and her brother as they traveled across country at a very young age from Tennessee. This story is based on one of the true stories that I have never forgotten. I reckon you might say, one that touched my heart. All the history in this here book is rightly true, and the rest is based on a true tale told to me by Mrs. West herself. Well, folks, let’s sit back and listen to the tale of Timmy and Lindy.
