This story is about life, love, loss and new beginnings. Follow the life of a young girl named Hope orphaned at birth at the turn of the 20th century in Chesapeake Bay, Maryland. She forms a special bond with another orphan and they experience life through innocence. After several years in the orphanage she is reunited with her father and is relocated from Annapolis up to Baltimore as they start their new family.
