Many times in life we desire to do good things. Unfortunately we end up doing the opposite. But in as much as we don’t have the final word on our life, we never can tell what the end is going to be. Jefferson Davis, at a young age, desired to be a priest. It did not turn out like that. In his hometown of Mobile, Alabama, he had a friend who had won many trophies as a fighter. When Jefferson saw them, he wanted some too. In order for him to obtain them, he had to become a fighter. There goes his desire to be a priest. Instead, he became a professional fighter. After becoming the 8th contender in the world, his life took a turn for the worse with alcohol. He became homeless and even lost both legs. But God had mercy on him and gave him a new life and at the end, he did become a priest unto God. For now he is part of the Royal Priesthood.
