Black Americans are limiting every effort so-called Black leaders are making toward a better America for Black America. We should be be concerned about a better Black America for America. We won’t get attention, unless we become a better people within the Black community. While we make up only 12 percent of the population of this nation, we are directly responsible for the murder of 95 percent of Black murdered victims in this country. There is a reason to be mindful of racism, but not to the point of not realizing our own dreams. Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream that one day Black people would achieve just as much as Whites in this country. We have got to realize that Dr. King’s dream is very possible, only if we work together toward solutions to not only stop Black on Black crime, but Black children dropping out of school.
