Stephen Colbert

On his television show The Colbert Report, which aired on Comedy Central from 2005 to 2014, Colbert played the nation’s fool. By good-naturedly mocking the mainstream media, politicians, and others, he made pointed commentary on how those in power attempt to both manipulate and win the trust of the American public.
