Al Gore

Former Vice President Al Gore has led many lives. After graduating from Harvard, he enlisted in the Army and served briefly in Vietnam in 1971 as a journalist. After failed runs for President, in 1988 and 2000, Gore devoted his energies to environmental education. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007 for his efforts to educate the public on climate change.
