My collection of poems are partially anecdotal, partly fun and perhaps just a shade visionary. They center largely around the sea as I was born on an island and eked out a living mainly as a diver / guide most of my life. The poems run the gamut from the stars through birds, fish, sharks, coyotes to molluscs, even sailboats, eccentrics, insights into human psyche, crude social commentary, direct knowledge and visions of Atlantean times, and an attempt to preserve some of my father’s stories and jokes that would die with me otherwise. The insatiable greed of the human race is destroying the world I grew up in and this is my attempt to let them know what was, compared to what they are going to have if they continue to excercise no restraint. Take a warning! I did not write The Saprophyte . This is God’s world, He will not allow you to destroy it.
