The Rise of the Synija

Eight hundred years have passed since the Kingdom of Amulin has seen a great war; eight hundred years since the world of Drunair has seen a Synija. But although the Tyrant’s Wall has successfully held the barbarians of Gaveth within their volatile lands, the Dread Lord Roth has defeated the Wall, and Gaveth once again marches to take vengeance on the Kingdom and world that locked them away. Roth invades Amulin Kingdom, bent on capturing the three Elements of Power, and use them to open the Door of the Abyss, and free the imprisoned Army of Demons. With the Demons at his command, Roth plans to overthrow the nine Realms of Drunair and name Gaveth as the High Realm. But the Keeper’s know that freeing the Army of Demons and opening the Abyss will bring more evils to the world than the Dread Lord and his invasion. After nearly a millennium of peace, the Synija, the Defender of Life, is once again needed. Elayna Arsand of the Keepers has escaped the Dread Lord’s attack on Amulin City with two of the Elements of Power, and the Spirit Sword. She meets Devyn Idarraga of Hertishrin, and together they must journey to the Temple of the Synija to reunite the Spirit Sword with the Shield and become the Arja and Nysir. Only by sharing the burden of Synija together can they rid Amulin Kingdom of the Dread Lord’s plague.
