More Letters of Charles Darwin: A Record of His Work in a Series of Hitherto Unpublished Letters Part One
Charles Darwin
1903 - This illustrated work is part one of two and is edited by Francis Darwin and A.C. Seward. It includes an autobiographical chapter and a selection of letters written by Darwin, the British naturalist who became famous for his theories of evolution and natural selection. The volume contains a series of letters, now published for the first time, prepared so as to give as full an idea as possible of the course of Mr. Darwin’s work. The volumes therefore necessarily contain many letters of a highly technical character. The letters are classified according to subjects such as Evolution, Geographical Distribution, Botany, etc., and within each group they are placed chronologically.
