This book is designed for K-12 general and special educators as they strive to meet the needs of a growing population of students with special needs. The book will be loaded with over 100 practical adaptations that don’t require a lot of time or money to implement. These are definitely adaptations that a teacher could read about over the weekend and begin to utilize in the classroom on Monday morning. The introduction of the book will discuss the meaning of the terms: adaptation, accommodation, and modification. It will also briefly discuss the legal basis for making adaptations and cautions in making adaptations.
