Forests

A full-colour exploration of forest environments. Incorporating photographs anddiagrams, it seeks to convey essential information on the topic, inline with the National Curriculum, and is ideal for school librariesand topic work for children between the ages of eight and ten, schoolyears 4-5. It is part of a series of four titles on themes related tonatural environments. Each title incorporates features of non-fiction texts that pupils arerequired to study in literacy lessons, such as contents lists,diagrams, flow charts, captions, report writing, glossaries andindexes.
