to the NC objectives) has been noted so it is easy to work out

the areas children are struggling with. Because of this, I was

able to quickly identify the weaknesses and gaps children had within

reading that were preventing them from reaching ARE. Once I had

identified gaps, the resources in the pack provided a range of

models and activities to address the children’s individual needs.
