Do you remember Julián is a Mermaid? It’s one of the finest picture books of the past few years and a staff favourite at Readings. Now, Julián and Marisol are going to be in a wedding!
We meet the beautiful brides and their sweet dog, Gloria. Julián and Marisol are both wearing nice outfits for the wedding and as the event progresses, we see that their wardrobes are delightfully swapped and remixed. The text is sparse and much of the story is told through illustrations that perfectly capture moments of a truly joyful occasion.
This is a radiant picture book that celebrates love and dancing and wearing whatever makes us feel happiest! For ages 3+.
