How to Draw Kwanzaa Symbols

Although this holiday was created in 1966, it has a long, rich history behind it. Students will learn the importance of the symbols and principles of Kwanzaa, such as the importance of working together as a community and the importance of self-determination. Students will understand how this holiday helps African Americans be better people and live better lives, all while fulfilling one of Kwanzaa’s principles, the importance of creativity!
