Anglo-Japanese Relations 1892-1925

A hundred years after the Anglo-Japanese Alliance, this collection provides some first-hand accounts and some considered analysis of what led up to the negotiation of the Alliance and the reasons for its gradual disintegration. The views of both Japanese and British politicians and diplomats are given in the contemporary works reprinted here.
