Single mother Dori Grant lost everything-her home, her belongings, and her beloved grandfather-to a vicious fire. Her hardworking neighbor Johnny Pine is also burdened with responsibility. He’s doing everything he can to support his young brothers and keep the last of their family together. But life continues to get harder when they find themselves as the target of malicious small town gossip. Kindhearted Ruby Dye, owner of the local hair salon, decides to do away with the petty gossip and takes them both under her wing.
