Martine Beswicke was born in Jamaica as Mary Rose Penso Beswick. From a very early age, it was her dream to be an actress. She moved to London in her early teens to begin a career in modelling. Hammer came calling to cast her in One Million Years BC, where she met and fell in love with the leading man, John Richardson.
