Pigeon Poos was inspired by the huge mess left by pigeons on cars that parked in a particular parking space. My car was a victim to the droppings.
The script identifies the pigeon as a pest before remembering that, like all nature, they have their place on the planet, in the pigeon's case, quite deservedly.
The rhyming style of the book plus the beautiful, humorous illustrations by Gordon Swapp, make a lovely, funny, entertaining and factually interesting book (re pigeons), for children and adults alike.
At the back of the book there are a few activity pages for children to enter as follows
Their own Pigeon Fun Facts
Draw pigeons using freedom of imagination
To draw/paint a pigeon portrait.
