The tale of Bunny planning a birthday party!

The Idea

The bedtime bunnies teach a valuable life-long technique for helping to get to sleep!

The Technique

Picture a bunny hopping around their patch of forest, meeting their woodland friends, and then imagine what they say while they have a short chat before moving on to a new location and a new friend - then *bam* you’re in a calm frame of mind and your mind and body are ready for sleep!

This book can be read and used in many different ways, for example:

Stick to the story! The bunnies can be having a chat exactly like in the book! Challenge! After reading the story a few times, your child can try to remember what each friend is giving and bringing.
Get creative! An opportunity for further imagination - your child can think of a different idea for each animal to give and bring - this encourages thinking for themselves and thinking outside of the box, which are more great skills to have growing up. By using this pattern either by reading the book (or, once you know it/your version of it imagining in your head) you are able to fully switch off and allow yourself to be ready for sleep.
