Colonel Thomas L Knowlton bravely fought and died in the revolutionary war. He is seen as America’s first intelligence officer because his unit Knowlton’s Rangers reconnoitered and gathered information during the beginnings of the Revolutionary war. To all such inquires we must answer in the negative.
