Several prophets such as Amos, Ezekiel, Zephaniah, Zechariah, Isaiah and Malachi all loudly proclaimed and foretold The Day of Yahweh.

While Amos and Ezekiel foretold it as the day when Yahweh would bring judgement against sinful Israel.
