Diamond In The Ruff

Diamond Jackson experiences multiple tragedies that each alter her life trajectory. As a young, Black girl living in the poorest area of Van Ness, she acquires the experience to survive adversity, the intellect to make sense of it all and the desire to make a difference in the world. Unfortuantely, nothing can prepeare her for an act of racism that literally takes place on her doorstep. But until she faces her losses and chooses her fate, she has no idea how to move forward or what will become of the neighoboorhood she loves, the city in which she lives, herself or the future generations she is tasked to protect.
