Solstice is the second of our Cyber-Crime mini-series within the Silver Lake Cozy Mystery series. The first being Snow Angels. In Solstice, former hacker criminal, Jake Wheeler (introduced in Snow Angels) almost gets corralled by law enforcement and his former hacker enemies in an attempt to regain his normal urban life in London. He runs and succeeds in escaping to his grandfather’s private island sanctuary in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Of course, he is not totally free, but does gain a couple of hacker advocates from the organization, Anonymous. He makes some very tough decisions helped by local Scottish royalty, the Earl of Sutherland and his Falconer.
