Throughout history, the legend and the mystique of the Vampire endures. Why? This is due in no small part to the power of the archetype in the minds of humankind. It is the spirit that is the Vampire and the emergent force that its presence continues to paint within modern day Vampire culture. The Vampire mirrors the reflections of those qualities that particular people seek to emulate within themselves for what can only be embraced as an innate reason. It’s been said by many people that they feel born to it. The Vampire commands its own presence at the core of humankind’s nature. In some way, everyone ponders the power that resides in the nightside of our being. For those who identify as Vampire, this is the core of what the Vampire is. The nightside of a state of essence. The Vampire is rooted in an ascendance to another state of being. An altered state of vibration if you will, an essence that those who call themselves Vampire, seek to rise to. The current state of Vampire Culture has evolved from the roots of its being in the late 1980’s and into the 1990’s into what it continues to present of itself now. For those who have submersed themselves into the culture, they parlay at the color and the spirit of all that they embrace as being Vampire. Then there are those who understand, intimately, that what this is truly all about to them, is the acceptance of themselves into another state of being entirely.
