These handbooks were created to introduce hikers to the abundance of wild and native foods along this 2,650-mile long trail. This is the fourth of the six handbooks developed for the through- and section-hikers of the Pacific Crest Trail, and covers the approximately 530 miles in Northern California from Sierra City to the California/Oregon border.
