As you go through this book, you will come across the titles Light, Dark, Darker, and Darkest. This describes my journey with writing and how I started from Light and ended up in Darkest. I want my readers to realize that the darker the poems became, the more confident I grew and the more comfortable I became with my poems. As the light slowly escaped my poetry, it found a new home within me.
