The book starts log sheets for the assistants cases and ends with an overview of a particular surgery and explains from start to finish from the first assistant's point of view. There are pages for you the student to use for your version of this or a similar surgery. The log book has hundreds of slots for you to record cases as completed. The overviews are setup so when finished you will have a better understanding of the reasons things are done this way.
