You have no idea of what someone is going through or what is going on in someone's life until the person begins to share. But how will the person share if there is no one to listen? This whole concept of CBC is a kind of an outreach where instead of the clients looking for counselors or therapist, it is the mental health counselors, pastoral counselors, addiction counselors, or pastoral worker reaching out to those who may be in need of help but not seeking it. Using the Cab or Taxi as a Therapeutic Setting, The Helper wears the dual role of the Driver and a Counselor engaging in Cab Brief Counseling which begins and ends with the ride.
