Beulah Brasen was born to Oliver and Edna Ralstin near North Vernon, Indiana in 1907. Her memoir begins in 1916 as she boards a train bound for the American West. Her family settled at the end of the line near Scobey, Montana, where she lived until her death in 2000. This is her story from the wild prairie Beneath Montana Skies.
