Book of Dawn / I, The Iceberg is a collection of poems originally written during a long dark Ann Arbor winter in 2004. It is finally released alongside the 2017 4-song EP Worldless Lullabies by Sean Lamborne’s alias TMULE. Together, Book of Dawn / I, The Iceberg and Worldless Lullabies explore addiction, codependence, confusion, abandonment, memory, and love. While the pain and fear experienced while growing up affected by alcoholism and mental illness has been a topic of many TMULE songs, this book/CD package is the first time he feels he has distilled his experience into salient stories and striking imagery that may bring solace to those struggling through their own darkness, whatever it may be. The EPs dark aesthetic is an attempt to shine light into a dim past while the poetry book explores the wide range of emotions surrounding dependence issues and its complicated effect on personal relationships.
