This book is about a girl who moves to Manhattan and is led to believe that she is just and ordinary girl while her mother is concealing a secret that will change the course of the girls life forever. When the girl's mother is kidnapped the girl sets out to find and rescue her mother and she meets some people who quickly become her allies. Some are more connected to the girl more then they know.
