My grandmother Ellie Chatzilazarou, Adosidis, was one of those Greek heroines that offered beneficial and invaluable service to their beloved Greece. She worked voluntarily as an official representative of the Greek Red Cross near the advanced lines of the battles of the First and Second World War. She organized small mobile clinics for the sick and wounded Greek officers and soldiers. This was just one of her many excellent achievements.
