This is an interlinear translation of the Peshitta Aramaic Old Testament poetry books: Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes and Song of Solomon, also known as the Wisdom books. The Peshitta Old Testament is a translation of the entire Hebrew Bible, most likely completed in the 1st century AD, in this author's opinion. Much supporting evidence for a 1st century AD translation is proffered in notes in this and other volumes of the Peshitta Old Testament Interlinear. Most Peshitta scholars believe the translation was produced by early Hebrew Christians. As such, the Peshitta Old Testament would have comprised the first Christian Old Testament, which in conjunction with the Peshitta original New Testament, would comprise the first complete Christian Bible. 348 pages 8x11 paperback.
