The Chesterville Center Union Meeting House is pleased to offer this re-issuance of the semi-forgotten classic, the Farmington Historical Society's Pilgrimage No. 3 - Father Sewall and His Zion's Hill Neighborhood. First published in 1967, it was one in a series by Ben and Natalie Butler. Over the years of course many of the homes depicted have ceased to exist, and obviously the owners that are listed have likewise vanished. But the history of the little town of Chesterville will always exist as long as we do our best to keep it alive in our imaginations. This reprint is an accurate replica, with some updated information provided at the end. We appreciate the cooperation and permission of the Farmington Historical Society for allowing publication of this new edition. We hope readers will enjoy reacquainting themselves with the charming past of what was perhaps the most significant part of early Chesterville, the Zion's Hill neighborhood.
