Cthulhu, el dios y monstruo mas famoso de la mitologia lovecraftiana, es arrojado desde el espacio por el gran Yog-Sothoth y cae en la enigmatica laguna de la Cocha, y una maligna orden llamada "la orden de Cthulhu" intentara realizar un oscuro ritual para que Cthulhu consiga romper los vinculos del tiempo manifestados en tres brillantes estrellas para que asi Yog-Sothoth pueda cruzar a nuestro mundo y romper el vinculo supremo en el umbral de Dunwich para liberar al gran Azathoth de su prision demencial en Yuggoth, el planeta que todos conocemos con el nombre de Pluton. Y puede que Azathoth, cuando quede libre, sea incitado por Yog-Sothoth a reinar el cosmos con mas crueldad que el mismo diablo en el infierno, o sea incitado a destruir este cosmos para luego generar otro que sea apropiado y exclusivo para su espantosa raza, o simplemente puede ser incitado a destruir esta existencia asegurandose de que nada vuelva a existir jamas.
