At Tuleyome, we believe that everyone deserves access to the outdoors. Our nationally award winning program, Home Place Adventures, encourages people of all ages to become more connected to and involved with the natural world that surrounds us. Our goal is to educate and empower our community to care for and help protect the land and resources that we enjoy and on which we depend. Part of the Home Place Adventures programs includes our "Tuleyome Tales", feature articles written primarily by staff that are published in regional newspapers. This book embodies the tales written between January 2011 and June of 2015. Other tales can be found in Volume 1. They have been published online and in local newspapers such as The Daily Democrat, The Davis Enterprise, Lake County News, The Napa Valley Register, The West Sacramento News Ledger, Red Bluff News, the Winters Express and others. The book was compiled by Mary K. Hanson, a Certified California Naturalist.
