This particular collection is forty odd poems, culled from a few hundred, of notes doodles scribbles & jottings, that have followed me around the globe in various stained books and biscuit tins, like flower pressings. And like flower pressings, they could as well have been sketches, recipes, stickers, photographs, anything that captures a thought-bomb or a tar-ball -- nerd-speak for that cluster of essentials binding an experience into a coherence -- everything from utter bleakness to insane joy.
