Vera Strunk was born and raised in northeast Kansas and received her R.N. degree from St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in 1952. Here she tells the story of her life which included raising 13 children on a farm and eventually returning to her nursing career, running a retirement home and traveling to her parents homeland.
