Footprints is part of the life story of Rosemary Rainey, who was an intellectually gifted lady from Belfast who despite adversity and illness went on to inspire generations of young people as a teacher in Orangefield High School. In addition, Rosemary has been making a difference to the lives of many through her work in the Methodist Church alongside leading and working with many educational bodies in Northern Ireland. Footprints was first published in 1996 and has now been updated with photographs of those closest to Rosemary and some of the places she mentions in her book. This is opportune as her life story can now be brought to a new generation of people who can gain inspiration and spiritual guidance through the life of this remarkable lady. Although, Rosemary's humility is evident in that she doesn't think there is anything remarkable, as she just thinks she led an ordinary life
