Bruno Tamagnini nasce a Roma il 20 agosto 1938, la poesia e l'approdo naturale dopo le esperienze nella pittura e nella grafica. Nel 1987 pubblica il libro "Ditirambo" e tra la fine degli anni '80 e i primi anni '90 molte delle sue composizioni vengono inserite in antologie dedicate. Il 23 maggio 1987 e stato premiato con il 1 premio assoluto, per la regione Friuli-Venezia Giulia, al gran premio della Poesia "Regioni d'Italia" indetto dal centro studi "Carlo Capodieci" e dalla Univeristas Internationalis Culturae et Scientiae, UICS, di Pescia.
