The writing is intelligent. The plot is good, well thought out ...There is no doubting that the subject matter of this book is extremely important and the writer has demonstrated more than adequately that he has a good political awareness, and a great insight into terrorist aims and tactics; sometimes scarily so. Although one would be tempted to label this book firmly as Action/Adventure, its treatment of the subject lifts the work into an altogether more serious category...the story is an undoubted success. The author demonstrates a considerable depth of knowledge of historical and contemporary political facts in the course of this approach and his attempts to get into the mind of the terrorist is creditable. It is also quite clear that much research has been undertaken in order to provide the reader with fictional but extremely detailed accounts of al Qaeda terrorist activity in London.
