The Lord Jesus Christ, Who is our Saviour and Master, is the King of kings and Lord of lords. He is God, and the Father created all things through Him. All things were created by Him, through Him, and for Him, and in Him all things consist. He was before all things in the beginning. Though He was in the Form of God, He took the form of man, suffered, and died for men, so as to make peace between God and men. And having obeyed God to the point of death, God resurrected Him, and gave Him a Place at the right hand of His Throne, from where He will come to judge the whole world.
