Jason Wells lives the professional life of a successful architect who is known for his talent and ability in his field. His personal life tells a very different tale. A divorcee of two years, Jason finds himself in a long court battle for visitation of his two children, now teenagers, against his former wife, Shelia. Along the way, he is invited to a dinner party hosted by a powerful client, Lee McDermott, who owns most of the city and his wife, Kate.
