Paul Bunyan is a giant lumberjack and folk hero in American and Canadian folklore. His exploits revolve around the tall tales of his superhuman labors, and he is customarily accompanied by Babe the Blue Ox. He originated in the oral tradition of North American loggers, and was later popularized in a 1916 promotional pamphlet for the Red River Lumber Company. This book, "The Log Of Paul Bunyan - Master Woodsman", tells of his logging exploits in "THE WINTER OF THE BLUE SNOW", "THE BULL OF THE WOODS", "THE SOURDOUGH DRIVE", "THE BLACK DUCK DINNER" and five additional tall tales that will entertain woodland folks of all ages.
