There is a sniveling snitch by the name of Alingale Mitchenmouse. Alingale was one of a rarely encountered species of Woodland Nymphs. Although she was Elfin size, she was more Pixie-like in nature. The Evil Queen Remandala treated her like the most insignificant piece of trash in the world, but Alingale proved to be worse than a literal thorn in the side of the Weevil Itch. Alingale's only Livelihood was selling her ill-begotten secrets to Remandala for a mere pittance. At the Queen's bidding, the most loathsome of her snitches sulkily sidled, slither-wormed, and slinked sidewise into Remandala's presence. Later, Alingale Mitchenmouse was sitting on the rubble of a broken-down retaining wall. It was widely rumored that this was the site of strange and unexplained sightings of two-legged creatures from the other-dimension. Although these strange beings resembled Fairies, they were wingless Giants! She knew that she couldn't bear to come face to face with someone from the Other Dimension; much less, a Wizard. What part did Alingale have - regarding the expansive, brown carpet moving in a northerly direction from Remandala's Castle? The snitch had sure knowledge that these were aggressive, fighting and biting tarantulas, released from Remandala's secret hatchery. Their destination was Stillwater Hollow, and their purpose was to wreak havoc upon the citizenry - for diminishing their levy of quarterly tribute.
