From November 1982 until January 1985, Ginette was a visitor and then a regular member of the women's community at Orange Gate, part of the Greenham Common Women's Peace Camp. Orange was one of seven gates into RAF Greenham Common. All the gates had women's peace camps that infuriated officialdom. American [USAF] cruise missile nuclear weapons were deployed at Greenham Common in 1983. Ginette's personal - and often very funny - perspective was written within hours of it happening. This book is a very lightly edited and reformatted version of the original document. A few of the identifying names have been changed.
