It is my hope that we, blacks and all Americans, can 'rejoice' for the accomplishment we have realized toward 'peoplehood' in the face of our deep sadness - rejoice that we can 'love' each other more dearly for what we have endured to gain some progress while 'hating' the cost of it. I hope that we can 'forgive,' while we know that what we are striving to forgive is humanly 'unforgiveable.' Racism has cost us all!
