In a trio of Island Boy Photobooks subtitled "My Life in Pictures," Arnold presents a visual history of his family and their life on the Caribbean island of St. Thomas. The first book in the series presented 70 years of family and island photos, spanning from 1910 to 1979. This book - "My Life in Pictures 2" - highlights family and island history through the 1980s and 1990s in hundreds of full color photos. That includes coverage of the devastating destruction on the island by Hurricane Hugo in 1989 and Hurricane Marilyn in 1995. Also during this time period, Arnold and his wife Helena saw the personal tragedies of losing their fathers and other beloved family members. On a more positive note, their daughter Selene graduated from school and college and later became engaged. Changes in the islands, especially on St. Thomas, are also highlighted in the brilliant color photos. In the upcoming final volume of the trilogy, Arnold will bring things up to date through the 2nd decade of the 21st Century.
